A 20-minute DfES video, plus an accompanying booklet, on the role and responsibilities of SEN governors has been produced and is available free of charge.  It illustrates how SEN governors can make a difference for children with SEN and disabilities, outlines the key roles of people involved in SEN provision, and what is expected of SEN governors.  It offers a taster of what it is like to be an SEN governor, and the kind of things SEN governors need to know and find out about.
