A Guide to the Law for School Governors 2006

You are looking at an archived page, which may not reflect current policy.

The 2006 edition of the Guide was distributed from 30 January 2006. It was amended in May 2006 - view the amendment instructions.

You can download the full amended guide here as a pdf or a Word file. The Word file is very large, but has been zipped, so you can dowload as a smaller file and then open the full version:

Previously, there were separate versions of this Guide for community (including community special and maintained nursery schools), foundation (including foundation special schools), voluntary aided and voluntary controlled schools. These have now been incorporated into this single edition.
