October 2008 beacon authorities� workshop

To assist schools and local authority children�s services departments with emergency planning, and to raise children�s awareness of emergencies as part of the Government�s objective to raise community resilience, the DCSF is working with emergency planning beacon authorities on an emergency planning project.
