Behaviour Matters season on TTV
Behaviour Matters runs for two weeks from 13 to 26 August, with programmes, films and documentaries covering a wide range of behavioural issues, including:
Rude Britannia A series that explores the lifestyle of teenagers in Britain today and which aims to help young people think about the importance of image and antisocial behaviour.
Teaching with Bayley Behaviour-management guru John Bayley works with teachers to help them improve their classroom technique.
Primary Management: Challenging Children Challenging Children examines how Herbert Morrison Primary School in Vauxhall, south London, continually adapts and refines its system of assertive discipline in line with the particular demands of individual classes.
Primary TAs: Anger Management Valerie Vassell and Jackie Roberts are teaching assistants (TAs) who want to learn techniques to help them manage their pupils' anger. They work one-to-one with learning mentor Sarah Harris. Together they examine strategies that can be adapted for TAs to use in large-group situations.
Secondary Management: Managing Inclusion � Preventing Exclusion Since 1995, Preston Manor High School in London has been developing ways to help pupils with challenging behaviour move forward rather than be excluded.
