Every year, the Board publishes an Annual Report for presentation to the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families and the public. It outlines the advice that the Board has given the Secretary of State over the course of the year, the targets that were issued to the supplier of the Teachers TV channel, the Board�s assessment of performance over the past year and the bonus that was recommended to the Secretary of State for payment to the supplier. Other matters are also covered in the report at the Board�s discretion � for example, the effectiveness of the regulatory framework in upholding the channel�s editorial independence and any programme complaints that the Board has received and options for the development for the channel.

The Board�s 2007 Annual Report to the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families gives an account of the channel during the second operating year (1st August 2006 � 31st July 2007) and covers the work of the Board and the issues that Governors have considered during this period including business development, distribution and marketing
