Federations conferences

The conferences, which are aimed at headteachers and governors who are interested in federating, will look at the unique challenges facing rural primary schools and how federating can help.

The conferences will be workshop-focused and will offer delegates:

  • the opportunity to listen to the experiences of headteachers that have already federated
  • to learn more about the process
  • to hear from senior DCSF officials and the NCSL on the future of federations.

Dates for the conferences are:

  • Bristol: 29 January
  • Newcastle: 19 March
  • London: 1 April
  • Birmingham: 23 June
